• Note: In his 1928 petition for naturalization, George says he arrived in the USA at Eastport, Idaho by rail the 18th of April 1923. His occupation was lumberman and he lived in Long Beach, California. In 1930, living in Long Beach, he was a salesman for a lumber company and was renting his home for $25 (presumably the monthly rent?). In 1940 he was a lumber mill worker and the family was living in South Gate City, Los Angeles county, California.

• Note: Anna was the widow of Augustus Rogers when she married William Huff. Swarthmore records show an Anna Bartlet, daughter of Jacob, received Uxbridge MM (Monthly Meeting) from Easton and Saratoga, Y, 18 Sep 1794 . Also in record on 18 Dec 1794: Jacob, wife Anna, and children Sarah, Judith , Jacob, Joseph & Daniel ; as well, another apparent dauaghter, Naomi, a minor, received Smithfield MM, also 18 Dec 1794.
