Sharon Haggerty's Genealogy Database

This website is an archival copy of Sharon Haggerty's genealogy database, which was originally published as a WorldConnect database by RootsWeb.

The principal surnames represented in the database are: Bateman, Barnhart, Clarke, Haggerty (and variant spellings), Huff, Mapes, Meredith and Small.

The last version of the database was published on 22 February 2016. Sadly, Sharon passed away later in 2016, and so there has been no further development of either this archival copy or the RootsWeb database since then.

However, the Irish Meredith families who are documented in the database are the subject of active research, which is further developing and adding to Sharon's work on the Irish Meredith family history. The reader is referred to the Irish Merediths website for more up-to-date Meredith research.

• To find entries for individuals: use the Search menu item at the top of every page. A powerful combination of search queries can be entered, for example a subject's first name, together with a spouse's maiden name, a parent's first name and an associated place name;


• For an index of all individuals on this website: click on the Surnames menu item at the top of each page;


• For charts of all descendants of a family line: click on the Charts menu on every page. Click on a name in a chart to go directly to a biographical page for that person;

There is an icon at the top of the biographical page for each individual. Clicking the icon displays a pedigree chart with known parents and siblings for that person. A '+' after the name of a child in the Family Section on a person's page indicates that the child had children.
