Note: According to Stella Riis, John Morrow came from Castleblayney, County Monaghan, Ireland at the age of 16, bringing only a watch and some books with him. He first worked on the Welland Canal and then "took up farming." He was later joined by four brothers: Robert, Joseph, Samuel and William. The only John Morrow found in the 1851 census aged 50 and born in Ireland was living on Amherst Island, Addington county and listed as a widower. The only other Morrow in the household was John aged 16.

HAGERTY, Robert Ernest - of R.R, 1 Southwold, passed away on Thursday, November 10th, 2011, at his late residence, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late June Eleanor (Godkin) Hagerty and dearly loved father of Brenda (Barry) McMillan of Port Stanley and Jim (Enid ) Hagerty of Southwold. Dear brother of Bill (Mary) Hagerty of Southwold and Verlyn Prickett of Windsor. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley and Victor Govan of London. Loved grandfather of Bernard and Bonnie McMillan, Melissa Sawyer, Robert and Joshua Hagerty, Amanda Landry and Linda Govan. Sadly missed by 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Robert was born at Lawrence Station on June 19th, 1932, the son of the late Ernest and Eleanor (Annett) Hagerty. He worked at Gould Manufacturing. He was a member of Bethany United Church. Resting at WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow, with interment of ashes in McArthur Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. 10774794
