Funeral service was held on Saturday at 2.30 pm, followed by burial in John the Baptist graveyard, Ballyfin. 22 April 1828 is Edward's birth date as shown on the 1901 census when he was living with his daughter, Jane Gowan, in Creemore, Essa tp.; Edward is said to have immigrated in 1855, a date which is consistent with other records for the family.
