The 1928/29 Polk's "Chicago Numerical Street and Avenue Directory" lists George and Mabel J. Glander as the owners of the house at 5211 North Warner Avenue in Chicago, where her parents, Charles and Margaret also lived. The 1930 census indicates that George was an office clerk for the steam railroad; he was not a veteran. The Panschows and Glanders were still living together in 1930.
