Apart from his name in the baptismal records of his children, nothing else is known about him. A William Aston, a Currier of Birmingham, died intestate in 1762 and administration was granted to his widow Sarah on 6 Oct 1762. The inventory included the contents of a shop and brewhouse.
Note: a William Aston of Princip Street in Birmingham was a successful Button Manufacturer in the 19th C, but it is not known if there is any relationship with the descendants of this William and his wife Sarah.

In 1887 the house and grounds at Handsworth were acquired by the Urban District Council, which opened them as Victoria (later Handsworth) Park. The house was then known as Park House and used as refreshment rooms; it was demolished in 1968.

Thomas ASTON was born about 1758. He died about 1810, at age ~52.
Thomas Aston was a Button Maker and a partner with his brother Samuel in the firm of Samuel and Thomas Aston of St. Paul’s Square. His will dated 11 May 1807 was proved on 2 January 1811 by his brother Samuel and sister Mary Aston. The will mentions:
- Mary Aston, sister
- William Sylvester and Homer Silvester, friends
- Nancy Childlow of Birmingham, spinster [surname possibly Chidlow or Chidlow]
- Thomas Childlow, son of Nancy Childlow
- Samuel Aston, brother
- Elizabeth wife of John Spencer of Handsworth, niece
- Maria wife of Rev. Charles Hawkins of Lewknor, Oxfordshire, niece
- children of Samuel Aston.
