David Graham CROCKER was born in 1937. He died on 9 January 2015, at age ~78.¹

He was a Chartered Secretary and a professional philatelist, in which he had an illustrious philatelic career spanning 60 years. He was a founder member of the South African Philatelic Dealers' Association, served as its Chairman and was elected their Honorary Life President in 2013. He was elected chairman of the Expert Committee of the Philatelic Federation of South Africa in 1983.¹
