  There are actually two Sandys Wilkinson's (at least) in my family: a father and a son. It is possible that Sandys jnr may have had a brother (older, I think) named John but that is based mainly on speculation. It is known that Sandys jnr had a twin sister, Martha, and was born in 1842 in Ireland. I know little else about either Sandys, however, and hoped someone might be able to help, particularly since it's such a recognizable name. I would be particularly interested in the names of Sandys snr's parents/siblings/grandparents.

  Martha Wilkinson was born in Ireland March 1842. She migrated to Australia c1856 as a travelling companion to a Miss 'Coyne'. Her father's name was Sandys Wilkinson, as was her twin brother's. In later life, she married William Durrant. I am searching for any information about Martha, particularly her mother's name, information on her grandparent's and information on any siblings she may have. I am also particularly interested in contacting any possible descendents of Martha's twin, Sandys.
