• Note: Caheragh parish is the next west parish to Dromdaleague and is also in the Skibbereen registration district. There were birth registrations that are a match for the four youngest of the children of Robert and Susan. In addition, there were registrations for a Robert in 1871 and Dorah in 1873--I thought it likely these were also from this family, but no proof until I checked the Caheragh register and found their baptisms.

  1901 census for County cork, Ireland shows household in "Coolbane": Robert 60, Susan 67, unmarried son Henry 25, a granddaughter Margaret Stout 6 and Susan's brother Samuel Skinner, farm labourer 44. Name is spelled Stoutt in 1911, when Robert 75 and Susan 79 were living with their son Henry, his wife and children.
  Probably the Robert Stout whose death was registered in Skibbereen, 2nd qtr 1912, age 75, but not confirmed.
• Note: Susan Skinner; 1911 census indicates Robert and Susan had been married for 54 years; this is a match for the marriage of Robert Stout in Skibbereen District in 1857.

  In 1901 Susan was67 ; in 1911 she was 79, and 8 of her 12 children were still living.
  Probably the Susan Skinner whose death was registered Skibbereen 2nd qtr 1917, age 83.
• Note: Robert Stout; 1911 census indicates Robert and Susan had been married for 54 years; this is a match for the marriage of Robert Stout in Skibbereen District in 1857.
