Major John Vincent Meredith, M.C.
M, #12278, b. 4 November 1885
Parents
Biography
- Birth: 4 November 1885; Norfolk - Scottow, England
- Note: William Rice Meredith's pedigree charts say this was the only son of George Meredith. However, I feel confident that the George V. Meredith living in England in 1901, with sons Ralph and John must be this family. I am assuming Major J. Meredith named by Wm Rice was John, who was 15 in 1901. In 1911 John Vincent Meredith, born England, age 26, single, Church of England, was a lieutenant in the Royal Irish Constabulary, living in a barracks in Maryborough.
