- Note: The Griffiths Valuation (1850) shows only two Sheeran listings in Queen's county: John Sheeran of Aghmacart (house and land--just over 1 acre) and Catherine Sheeran in Kyle parish. As Margaret's second son was named John, there is a good chance Margaret's father was John Sheeran of Aghmacart. In the 1901 census there are 70 Sheerans listed in Queen's county.
In 1901 Margaret was 70; she and her unmarried son Finton were living in Derraugh, Trumra, Queen's county--this family was Catholic. Age 76 at time of death.

Members of the military were enumerated only by their initials. The only possible fit in 1901 was Constable P.M., farmer's son, born Queen's county, age 41, married. P.M. was stationed in Knocknagashel, Kerry.

Going through the index of names I noted the following entry, and when then going to the index by number, I see there are over 60 people all listed in #4747, most with the same comment, but some with comment "Property in Montrath, Co Laois"--several familiar names there, but lots of others as well.
