• Note: Ontario birth registration #201112 (reg'd 1876) spelled name Miridith. In 1901 her birth date is said to be 27 Oct 1876; in 1911 census her name is given as Georgina Mabel. She is said to be married, rather than widowed, but she and her 2 children were enumerated in her parents' home in Stratford--they may have been visiting. Her birth year at that time was said to be 1877. In 1930 (Port Huron, MI) Mabel is said to be 53 and to have married at the age of 20. She immigrated to the USA in 1910.
• Note: William McLeod; 1930 USA census indicates "Mabel" was 20 when she married.

On the 1911 census he was listed as William and living with his mother and sister and brother-in-law in Toronto.
