• Note: Son of Edward Asling and Mary Magdalen Quackenbush Truax, resident of Reach tp when married. In 1871 Charles was a machinist and lived in Barrie, Ontario. When William's birth was registered in 1878 Charles was a carpenter in Stayner, Ontario; when the second William was registered they had moved to Midland and Charles is said to be a cabinet maker; in 1881 a carpenter in Midland. In 1901 he was a millwright in Hamilton, Ontario.
  Ontario death reg'n #23654: 95 Ontario Ave., Hamilton; widower, cause of death atherosclerosis; informant was Mrs. F.W. Ritchie of the same address, possibly a daughter?

Listed in 1910, 1920 and 1930 US census living in Queens, NY--1910 says she immigrated to USA in 1903, but in 1920 and 1930 it says 1906. As that was the year they married, that may be more likely?
