The search fields can be filled with any combination of search queries e.g. a subject's first name, together with a spouse's maiden name and a place name. An advanced search method using regular expressions can be used by checking the Regular Expressions checkbox at the bottom of the search panel. Click on the Question Mark for help on using wildcards and regular expressions as part of the search.
