Note: FHH thought Christopher's son Henry was related to George Webb and Amelia Haggerty (married Kilmeen Parish, Ireland 24 July 1810). However, Christopher's age suggests that if there was a relationship, he would probably have been a nephew. Christopher did have a son George which is consistent with a relationship--had he been a son we would have expected his first son would have been George.

Note: In November 1888 Christopher was a witness at a marriage and his residence was said to be Spring Book. On the 1901 Census, he farmed Lot 10 11th Concession Rawdon Twp. At the time he was a widower, and had a five-year-old "ad son" (adopted son??) living with him. The child's name is pretty well illegible--I had transcribed it as "McMurchon?". I have since noted that one of Christopher's sisters, Elizabeth, married William McMahon, and wonder if this is the family connection? This needs further investigation.

In 1881 Christopher's wife was identified as "Nancy," aged 28. There were also a Thomas McMechan in the household (age 17) and born in Ireland. There were no children.
