Alta Marguerite Haggerty
F, #343, b. 7 January 1908, d. 2007
Parents
Biography
- Birth: 7 January 1908; Stony Beach, Sask
- Death: 2007; Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
- Note: Moose Jaw Times-Herald, January 7, 2005: "Alta Read of Capilano Court turns 97 today." A search of Saskatchewan obituaries does not produce any record of Alta's death, but it seems likely that if she had reached 100 in 2008 there would have been a similar note about that in the Moose Jaw paper? A search of the Times-Herald archives turned up similar birthday notices for her 92nd and 95th birthdays, but no others. Finally found! Link to tombstone:
