Michael Meredith

• Note: Baptism for a Michael Meredith, son of "Tommis" Meredith and Marie Mullen, 8 October 1797, St Michan's--possibly this man? Sponsors were James English and Emilia Brady.
  Records for baptisms of several of Michael's children, St Nicholas Catholic Church, Dublin, show several different addresses:
  December 1853: 22 Francis Street
  May 1856: Plunkett Street
  November 1859: 6 Plunkett
  September 1861 to January 1866: 5 Plunkett Street.
  Michael was deceased when his son Patrick married. He had been a bellows maker, as was Patrick. The 1820 Dublin Directory shows a William Meredith living at 140 Francis Street--possibly Michael's father or brother?
  
  "Letters of Administration of the personal estate of Michael Meredith late of No.128 Francis-street Dublin Bellows Maker deceased who died 29 August 1872 at same place were granted at the Principal Registry to Eliza Meredith of Francis-street aforesaid the Widow of said deceased." The estate value was under £200. The death does not appear to have been registered.
