    From a granddaughter: Frederick Percy Lea always told his children that he was a Gentleman, and that he was shunned by his father for marrying beneath him. Frederick and Ellen had 10 children and were given a few shillings a week from his parents to help out although this was handed to him by his sister. All they were left in his father’s will was a box of linen. There is a plate to the two brothers Samuel Percy Lea and Frederick Percy Lea in St Georges Chapel at Windsor where we were given the details which led back to Richard Meredyth the Bishop.
