• Note: Catherine was a widow when she married Adam--her former husband was a Wolfe. She was from Kilmeen parish when she married Adam. Death registered Clonakilty district.

• Note: 1901 and 1911 censuses reveal Adam was born in Cork and I am assuming he was a son of the elder Adam. Census records show that he had served with the Royal Irish Constabulary and had reached the rank of sergeant. He and his wife were living in Clontarf, county Dublin in 1901 and 1911. Death reg'n first qtr of 1920 in Dublin North.

• Note: Age 42 in 1891; living in New Westminster, BC. Can't find any records of this man except for 1888 marriage and 1891 census. Presumed to have died before Lena remarried in 1900, but cannot find a death record.
  Search of 1871 England census for James Radley born England 1860 +/- 5 years produces 14 possibles!
• Note: Helena LaPlante; BC reg'n #1888-09-043809 - 2 different listings for same reg'n number: one with bride Helena Laplante; other with name Helena Bush? Perhaps a widow?

• Note: 1891 census age 28; 1900 marriage registration gives age as 37, widow, parents were John and Lena LaPlante, born Victoria; 1901 census gives 1863 as birth year; in 1911 it says 1867.
  Lena married three times. As best as I can determine, her only children were from the first marriage. These people are difficult to find in earlier censuses.
  I have been unable to find either a birth or death registration for her or 1871 or 1881 census records. Possibly--unfortunately, images not available?
