Re: Thomas Richard: age given as 38 when he married in 1926. In 1934 Thomas Meredith filed a declaration claiming his nephew Thomas Richard Meredith had been born 21 November 1886! (Late birth reg'n #901828-1934). I have been unable to find a death registration. Family history is that he died in 1941.
Note: Dorothy Findlay Knapp; Marriage reg'n #270?61: witnesses W.M.? Meredith and Marion E. Meredith (probably wife of Arthur Baldwin Meredith), both of 161 Alcorn Avenue. This record is not easy to read. Gives address of Thomas and Dorothy as 11 Glengrove? Avenue E.

On Wednesday, October 21, 1998, at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in his ninety-first year. Loving husband and dearest friend of Connie, beloved father of Norman M., John and Michael. Norman was particularly proud and devoted to his nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His retirement from the practice of law at age 86 is but one reminder of his remarkable, full and active life. A private family funeral was held on October 22. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James’ Cathedral, corner of King and Church Streets, on Wednesday, October 28, 1998, at 11:30 o’clock.
