Jonathan Bachelder
M, #9008, b. about 1790, d. 26 April 1864
Biography
- Birth: About 1790; New Hampshire
- Death: 26 April 1864; Pennsylvania
- Burial: Boyd Cemetery, Mercer County, Pennsylvania
- Note: The 1850 Coolspring on-line Census for Mercer County lists this family name as Bachelor, but the Boyd cemetery transcript says Bachelder. Upon checking the Ancestry.com census listings for PA I was unable to find this family, but did find another PA family in which the head of the household was Bachelder and his aunt, who also lived with him, was Bachelor. Tombstone record gives age at death of 73; 1850 census has him as 57 years old.

Biography
- Birth: About 1831; Pennsylvania
- Death: 31 October 1855; Pennsylvania
- Burial: Boyd Cemetery, Mercer County, Pennsylvania
- Note: Mary died in 1855, unmarried. She is not listed in the index for the 1850 census. However, it is possible that Mary and Polly were the same daughter, as Polly was sometimes a nick-name for Mary.

Jane M. Huey
F, #9014, b. 31 August 1843, d. 18 January 1853
Parents
Biography
- Birth: 31 August 1843; Pennsylvania
- Burial: Boyd Cemetery, Mercer County, Pennsylvania
- Note: The cemetery inscription is recorded as: "Jane M. dau of H. & S. Huey d Jan 18, 1853 age 9y 4m 18d (stone down)" However, the re was no Jane Huey listed in the 1850 census, and no couple whose initials were H. & S. I searched through the 1850 index for a Jane with a surname beginning with H and whose name appeared in the same section of the census as a male whose name began with H and a female whose name began with S. Only two such families were found--in the other the H male and the S female were also children. In the Hovey family the father was Hugh, the mother Sarah, and Jane's age was consistent. Therefore, I conclude that this Hovey family from the census is probably the same family as that of Jane Huey buried in the Boyd Cemetery. That makes it likely that the mother, Sarah, was either a Boyd or a cousin of the Boyds. So far I have not been able to make the link. On the census the Hoveys were family #590. Family #588 is that of William Boyd and Roxiena Smith (name recorded as Naxeng on this census).

- Death: 1 March 1891; Pennsylvania
