Edith Mary KEILLER was born on 8 December 1861 in Dundee, Forfar, Scotland.

2 She died on 7 April 1943, at age 81.
1 Edith Mary Keiller was the 2nd of seven children of William Keiller by his first marriage to Mary Steel MacNee.
Her father William Keiller was a director of James Keiller & Sons, a well-known marmalade and jam manufacturer. The company had been established by his father James Keiller in 1797, and it produced and marketed on a commercial scale the marmalade recipes of William’s grandmother, Janet Keiller nee Mathewson, who with her husband John had run a shop in Dundee from the 1760s.
William Keiller had 3 further children by his second wife Catherine Bell, including Leila Catherine Keiller, who is the grandmother of Monty Don, the British television broadcaster and writer on horticulture.

Oliver Henry North was the son of North Burton (who assumed the surname North) and his wife Alicia Gertrude Versturme. His obituary appeared in The Times on Saturday, Jul 24, 1954 as follows:
“Lieutenant-Colonel Oliver Henry North, D.S.O., died on Wednesday, at the age of 80. He was bom on April 28, 1874, the fifth son of the late North North, of Newton Hall, Lancashire. He was gazetted to the Lancashire Fusiliers in 1900, and served in the South African War with Bethune's Mounted Infantry, being present at the relief of Ladysmith, at the action of Spion Kop, at the operations of February 5 to February 7, at the action at Vaal Kranz, and at the operations on Tugela Heights during 1900. He was actively engaged throughout the rest of the war until the final operations in Cape Colony in 1902. Promoted captain in 1910, major in 1915, he was three times mentioned in dispatches and created D.S.O. for his services in the 1914-18 War. North retired in 1925. From 1933 until 1937 he was district remount officer of Westem Command. In 1908, he married Edith Monica, only child of William Allan Smith Masters, of Meopham, Kent. They had four sons, one of whom was killed in action in 1940.”.

As well as further renovating the interior of the church, he introduced a surpliced choir and was the first rector of Stoke to retire on a pension.”.
