Note: Sarah's daughter Lillian gave her birth date as 7 August 1849. However, the baptism record reveals it was 1848. Her parents were sponsors at the baptism. Family records have a Sara said to have been born in 1853. However, I think it more likely that the family history date of 1853 was in error and there was only one Sarah, as it would be unlikely for another child to have been born between July 1852 and January 1854.
Sarah died in 1909; however, I found her listed with her family in the 1910 census for Michigan. The census indicated she had given birth to six children, all still living, although birth and death records for daughter Pearl Beatrice are found in Ontario.

Note: Daughter Lillian, in a letter written in 1946, said that George was born 28 February 1842 in either Newbury or Wardsville., and that he died 5 June 1918 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Canadian 1851/52 census shows a George, age 9, in the family of Stephen and Frances "Teems", living in Mosa tp, Middlesex county. In 1881 widow Frances Tims is living with George and Sarah, confirming placement.
In 1881 and 1885 George was a "mill owner," living in Dawn tp, Lambton county. In 1884 he was a "lumberman." The 1881 online census gives his occupation as "lawyer." I assume it should be "sawyer."
