A Canadian veteran of World War 1 and a long time member of Pile Driver’s Union Local #34.Friends are invited to attend the funeral from Smiley-Gallagher Funeral Parlor, 1415 Oak Street, Alameda, commencing at 9.30 a.m. Monday, August 22, thence to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1109 Chestnut Street, Alameda, where a Requiem High Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. Recitation of the Rosary Sunday at 8 p.m.

  Then joined The Liverpool Police Force and transfered to The New Zealand Force in January 1959. Was stationed at The Taranaki Street
  Police Station in Wellington for several years. He entered The Hospitality Trade 1965
  Died - 7th January 2000 @ The Palmerston North Hospital from Heart Disease and an Hepatic Haemorrhage
  Buried - In The Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North, Area S Block 020 Plot 039.
