Note: I was given birth year of 1843; however, on the 1851 census Sarah was listed as 7 years old (i.e., she would be turning 7 at his next birthday following January 1852), so I assume he must have been born in 1845.

Note: I was given the name Matilda by one informant; another says there was a Martha. Neither of these names appear on the 1851 census, although there was an Anne who was two years old and hence would have been born about 1850. I suspect these are three alternative names for one child. In 1851 Daniel was a year older, and Margaret a year younger.
Note: John Flanagan; Ontario marriage reg'n #8244: witnesses were Daniel and Catherine McIntomney, both of Pembroke; marriage by banns.

Note: 1911 census indicates born in Saskatchewan. Arthur enlisted in the military in Brandon, Manitoba 4 June 1918. He was born in Yorkton, he and his father were residents of Pierson, Manitoba at that time. He was 5' 10", of fair complexion and had hazel eyes and dark hair. Death date is from family bible. Thinking he might have died in the war, I checked the CWGC website, but couldn't find him there.

In 1930 living in Greece, Monroe county, NY--first name spelled Aanger on that census; indicates that he moved to USA in 1902. Angier was a foreman in an electrical appliance factory. He owned a house worth $7400. In the online SSDI his name is recorded as "Aangier."
