- Note: Andy and Isabel lived in Regina when they were first married where Andy was employed by Burns Co. They then moved to the Hagerty farm at Stony Beach, Saskatchewan (SE3-18-24) farming there for many years. In 1968 Andy purchased another farm just to the north, and moved there in 1973 when his son, Larry took over the home farm.

HAGERTY GEORGE ANDREW "ANDY" HAGERTY, --formerly of the Stony Beach district, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2002, at Providence Place, Moose Jaw. Andy was born April 6, 1911. He attended school, married Isabel Baldock in October 1938, raised two children and farmed at Stony Beach on the land his Dad homesteaded and where his son, Larry now farms. He always enjoyed farming, community activities and the company of his friends. Following the passing of his first wife, Andy later married Mary Heron and enjoyed her family and the many new friends she introduced into his life. Predeceased by his first wife, Isabel Baldock - 1981, second wife, Mary Heron - 1998, sister, Eva Spenst, and brother, Tom Hagerty. Andy is lovingly remembered by his family, Linda (Orest) Senkiw, Larry (Fay) Hagerty, Bill Heron, Donna (Pog) Ofstedahl, Bonnie (Garry) McMorris, Jim (Luci) Heron, Bev (Bob) Johnstone, Barry (Jo) Heron, Marilee (Clint) Sanborn, Mabel (Eddie) Hickerson, one brother, Stanley; grandchildren: Michelle, Steven, Leanne (Kyle), Scott, Curtis, Bernadette, Jaime, Andrea, Kent (Kue-Lynn), Trevor, Ryan, Brendon, Leighton, Nathan, Tyrone, Brie, Cody, Dustin, Colter, Brandee, Trenna, Madison, Dave (Alyson), Ken (Bree), Bruce (Laura); great-grandchildren: Kyril, Katelynn, Emighyn; Sam, Abigail, and Avery, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Andy will be sadly missed by his friends, family and Providence Place Caregivers - all of whom enjoyed his company and sense of humor. THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2002 AT 1:30 P.M. AT THE W.J. JONES & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Reverend Don Bater will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 150 Albert Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4R 2N2 would be appreciated. In living memory of Andy, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

EVAN HAGERTY went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 28th, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Left to cherish his memory are his family, step-children George (Wendy) Richmond, Linda (Giovanni) Mazzuca, Douglas (Arlene) Richmond; 7 grandchildren; 9 greatgrandchildren; sister-in-law Anne Hagerty; nephews and nieces Jim (Merle) Hagerty, Shelda (Jim) Strom, Ron (Sharon) Hagerty, Marg Hagerty, Ross (Nadine) Hagerty, Paul (Jeanette) Young, Alta Dyck, Audrey Falloch, Harold Young, and Steve Young. Evan was predeceased by his wife Emma of 44 years; his parents Ted and May; his sister Verna; brother Archie and nephew Gordon. A Celebration of Evan's Life will be held on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main Street North. Rev. Allan Buchanan will officiate and interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, Sk., S7K 2H8.
