• Note: Birth date from Loyalist Lineages of Canada (1991, p. 926). Most information on this line is from Loyalist Lineages. As John Merz noted the name Rombough was originally RAMBACH. The family settled in Eastern Ontario and is mentioned many times in Reverend Samuel Schwerdtfeger's church book. In fact there is an entry: John Rambough of Osnabruck died 7 March 1813, buried 11 March 1813, aged 49 years, 7 months, 25 days.
