• Note: Stewart & Vila were married in Regina at 2918 Dewdney Avenue. The marriage ceremony was performed by Reverend Harry Joyce in the church manse. Rev Joyce was the United Church minister. Witnesses to the marriage were Leita and
  Norman Smith, sister and brother-in-law of the bride. A reception followed at the Chapman farm at Belle Plaine.
  Stewart inherited the homestead from his parents and farmed it until his retirement in 1973. Stewart farmed with his son Keith from 1966 to 1973.
