Emily Jane Fagg was the daughter of Charles Fagg, an Army Pensioner. She was aged 22 and living in Lambeth Road, London at the time of her marriage.1

Jessie May Meredyth was described as the eldest daughter of Charles George Meredyth at the time of her marriage in 1913. It is assumed that her mother was Rebecca Townsend but there is no direct evidence for this. She filed for divorce in May 1940 on the grounds of desertion.4
