He was enumerated in the 1911 census at Quality Row, Maryborough, and was described as a Carpenter aged 67. Enumerated in the same household were his wife Margaret, daughters Charlotte and Ethel, sons John, George and Arthur, and grandchildren May and Thomas Haslam. He also lived at 29 Grattan Street, Maryborough.^2,4

     Margaret HIGGS was born circa 1849.² She married Thomas WILKINSON, son of Sandys WILKINSON and Margaret LEWIS, on 11 July 1867 in Maryborough.³
     
Margaret Higgs was the daughter of George Higgs, a Farmer. According to the 1911 census she had 12 children and 8 were still living in 1911.^3,2

     Sandys WILKINSON was born circa 1808. He married Margaret LEWIS on 2 May 1835.¹ He was buried on 28 March 1863; aged 55.²

     Jane Anna (Cissie) WILKINSON was born on 21 May 1868. She was christened on 12 July 1868. She married James HASLAM in 1901 in Mountmellick Registration District.² She died on 31 March 1905 in 29 Grattan Street, Maryborough, at age 36.³
